Star Consulting is lead by the Bianchi brothers, David and Johnny. Together, they have a combined 52 years of experience in developing remanufacturing strategies to serve the heavy industrial diesel engine marketplace.

David Bianchi
David Bianchi has over 25 years of experience in the engine remanufacturing industry. He is a hands on leader effective at aligning all components of the business from employees, customers, colleagues, and vendors. His career started in 1993 setting up machine shops and operating equipment industry wide. He has traveled the world throughout this career building a widespread and diverse list of clients. David is knowledgeable of the global reman industry and has networked extensively in his career. He is a positive team leader with proven results and an effective communicator who identifies strengths of his co-workers. In 2012, David Bianchi was Chairman of the Board for the Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association. David was President of H-E B&G Machine Inc. from 2015 to 2018, leading a campaign that identified efficiencies and helped streamline the engine rebuild program while significantly improving profits. While VP of Sales, he lead his team into new geographic regions and markets which resulted in 10x revenue growth over a span of 15 years. He is very active in the industry, serving as Chairman of the Board for the Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association in 2012. He retains a seat currently on the advisory committee.

Johnny Bianchi
Since 1991 Johnny has focused his career around remanufacturing industrial diesel engines. He has seen many market shifts that have proven to be solid aftermarket opportunities. Developing remanufacturing processes for engines and driving to improve engine life has been central to his experience from the shop floor to executive management. Johnny’s core experience and skill set has focused on identifying and developing remanufacturing opportunities. His goal is to develop and continuously improve remanufacturing business through organizing people, assets, production, systems and controls.
