Noteworthy Projects

1998 Consulted Mitsubishi Heavy Industries design engineers on machining and repair strategies for the ‘R’ series engines. Implemented factory approved repair in a marine application in Canada.

2002 Consulted Cummins Inc. in Mexico to equip and train the Cummins ReCon ISX crankshaft and camshaft remanufacturing lines.

2003 Principals performed as tier 1 supplier for Cummins Inc., supplying over 430 crankshafts to the Jamestown NY assembly line.

2004 Principals purchased plant and equipment and lead management team in the tooling and development of a premier diesel engine reman center. Enjoyed the distinction of the largest and most successful independent engine remanufacturing firm in North America.

2004 Began consulting with MTU quality and design engineers in Friedrichshafen, Germany and Detroit, Michigan to develop remanufacturing processes for MTU 2000 and 4000 Series engines. This development was continual thru 2018 and included Crankcase and Crankshafts for MTU Series 2000 and 4000 engines.

2009 Consulted Cummins Inc. on many aspects of their world wide ReCon Remanufacturing Center design capacities and specifications.

2010 Consulted CAT Reman engineers as part of a 6 sigma project focused on crankshaft polishing. Supplied CAT Reman 3500 Series Crankshafts during this period.

2011 Consulted Cummins Inc. in the development of a repair strategy for the implementation of the ‘split type’ connecting rod. This required extensive cylinder block machining. Principals solution to was to develop reman exchange program with Cummins and it’s distribution for QSK45 and QSK60 blocks and crankshafts. The firm supplied over 280 blocks into this factory reman program.
